Lobbying & Advocacy

The Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and industry Entebbe through its lobbying and advocacy department carries out research on the different issues affecting the business community and presents them to the different bodies with which it is affiliated so as to promote a more conducive and productive business environment. It also studies different laws and policies in order to safeguard the business community. The chamber always seeks for peaceful and more efficient ways of handling the grievances of the business community by clearly pointing out the position of the business community in relation to Government’s stand. They carry out negotiations and are a voice for the business community in Uganda so we are responsible for agitating for the change of numerous unfair policies that affect the Ugandan business community and increase difficulty in carrying out trade and industrial activities.
